Window

Imagine you’re standing in a wide-open field — not a soul in sight — perfectly cut, vibrant green grass as far as the eye can see. Surrounding you in the distance are epic, jagged, snow-capped mountains. The sky is electric; dotted with puffy white clouds.

Chronic

Imagine your physical body as a lightbulb (which actually isn’t crazy far off, as your body is an electromagnetic device of sorts). And say that that lightbulb (aka your body) can handle just about 200W of energy flowing through it at any one time.

Enjoy

When we can finally make that switch — when we realize that enjoyment is a choice, rather than a byproduct of choice, we gain significant agency over our happiness, because every moment becomes an opportunity to sneak joy into the cracks and crevices of our daily moments.

Redemption

Consider how you unconsciously think of others’ evils. Like Osama Bin Laden. Or Harvey Weinstein. Or that friend or partner that stabbed you in the back.

Raw

Now, when I say naked, I’m not trying to draw analogies. I mean naked, naked. Butt ass naked. Dick-flopping-in-the-wind-naked.
