My name is Ethan (IG: @yogawithethan), and I used to dread waking up in the mornings.

My alarms were like nails on a chalkboard: I never, ever wanted to get up.

It didn’t help that I always had severe brain fog, work anxiety, and feelings of shame for “being lazy.”

Worse still, I was a major coffee addict, had terrible sleep hygiene, and often spent more than 30 minutes scrolling media before getting out of bed.

I tried everything to fix my habits — I tried going to the gym first-thing, fasting, light-up alarm clocks, cold showers, and screen-time limits.

I would even go to bed at 8:30pm (trying to get 10 hours of sleep) to see if that would change things!
