Wake the F*ck Up’s third and final rule is ‘Fruit’.
Once nature has taken its cycles, it’s time to harvest and enjoy.
Practically speaking, this means a few minutes are dedicated to rest, reflection and integration at the end of each WTFU class.
This step is crucial. By acknowledging and appreciating your change in feeling state, two things happen:
(1) You support and encourage your healthy habits.
(2) It inspires you to envision the rest of your day.
Said differently, you’ll use the momentum and clarity generated from your practice to create new intentions for your day — to plant new seeds!
Look…it’s just true that you want today to be better than yesterday. In fact, you want every day to be more beautiful than the last! And doing so is just a matter of clearing your blockages and raising your vibration, which is what WTFU is all about.

Otherwise, that’s it for Wake the F*ck Up’s three rules, which means we can now get into the subtleties. The next 5 pages detail different nervous system hacks you can use to speed up your morning wake-up process.

P.S. Given the time restraints, I don’t cue a full svāsana or deep meditation in my classes. Instead, they are sincerely encouraged. A 15 minute svāsana allows the practice to settle more permanently into your nervous system, and meditation clears your mind, both of which are imperative to one’s overall well-being and growth.
